How Kizhi Therapy Works:

Preparation of Kizhi: The herbs or ingredients are tied into a cloth bundle, and these bundles can be filled with various substances, such as medicinal herbs, rice, and salt.

Herbal Kizhi: Contains medicinal herbs known for their healing properties.

Navara Kizhi: Contains specially prepared rice mixed with herbs, often used for rejuvenation.

Elakizhi: Includes a mixture of fresh, aromatic leaves.

Choorna Kizhi: Uses herbal powders as the base material.

Application: The Kizhi is heated and applied to specific areas of the body. The heat and herbal ingredients are believed to improve circulation, relieve muscle pain, reduce inflammation, and promote overall well-being. The heat also opens the pores, allowing the medicinal properties of the herbs to penetrate the skin.

Treatment Areas: It is commonly used for treating musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis, back pain, muscle spasms, and joint stiffness. It can also be used in skin care to improve complexion and relieve certain dermatological conditions.

Duration and Frequency: The therapy can vary in length and frequency depending on the condition being treated. Sessions usually last 30-60 minutes.
